By accessing our website (challengerscc.ca), registering as a member, making a payment, or interacting with Challengers Cricket Club ("the Club"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About the Club

Challengers Cricket Club is a registered Ontario non-profit corporation (Corporation Number: 1746974-8) dedicated to fostering cricket development, promoting diversity, and building community in London, Ontario.

3. Membership

• Membership is open to all individuals who register and pay applicable fees
• Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by the Club's board of directors
• Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times
• The Club reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership for conduct that violates club policies or brings the organization into disrepute

4. Payments

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
• Payment amounts for registration, practice sessions, and league fees are communicated by club management
• Receipts are issued automatically via email upon successful payment
• The Club does not store credit card or payment details — all payment data is handled by Stripe

5. Sponsorship Terms

Sponsorship of Challengers Cricket Club is a community contribution. By sponsoring the Club, sponsors acknowledge:

• Sponsorship provides brand exposure and community introductions as outlined in the selected tier
• The Club does not guarantee leads, client referrals, or business conversions of any kind
• Members are not obligated to sign up for, purchase, or use sponsor products or services
• Any individual engagement with sponsor services is entirely voluntary and at each member's own discretion
• The Club does not receive or pay commissions or referral fees in connection with sponsorships
• Category exclusivity is not offered at any sponsorship tier

6. Website Content

• All content on challengerscc.ca is provided for informational purposes
• We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but do not guarantee completeness
• Sponsor logos, names, and branding are displayed with sponsor consent as part of sponsorship agreements

7. Intellectual Property

The Challengers Cricket Club name, logo, and website content are the property of the Club. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our branding without written permission.

8. Assumption of Risk

Cricket is a physical sport. By participating in Club activities (practices, matches, events), members acknowledge the inherent risks involved in sports participation. The Club carries appropriate insurance but is not liable for injuries sustained during normal cricket activities. Members are encouraged to maintain their own health insurance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Club and its directors, officers, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in Club activities or use of the website.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
