About Challengers
Our Story
Challengers Cricket Club (Canada Not-for-Profit Corporation #1746974-8, incorporated 12 November 2025) was born from a shared vision: to elevate the quality of cricket in London, Ontario. In 2025, professionals from diverse backgrounds—engineering, finance, technology, healthcare, and education—came together, united by their passion for cricket and commitment to community building.
What makes us unique is our diversity of experience. Each board member brings expertise from their own field — banking, civil engineering, healthcare, technology, and community services — and a long-standing love of the game. Together, we combine strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and grassroots experience to build a community-focused cricket club for London.
Our Mission
To transform cricket in London, Ontario by establishing professional standards, fostering inclusive participation, and creating pathways for players of all ages and skill levels. We're not just another cricket club—we're building a movement that combines competitive excellence with community development, bridging cultures and creating opportunities through the sport we love.

Our strength lies in our multidisciplinary approach. With professionals from banking, civil engineering, hardware networking, and community services on our board, we bring corporate governance, financial discipline, technical innovation, and community expertise to cricket administration. We're an Canada Not-for-Profit Corporation, run entirely by volunteers, and committed to transparency, professionalism, and sustainable growth that benefits all of London's cricket community.

Former first-class cricketer from Bangladesh with over 20 years of cricket leadership experience. Proud father of three, served as Social Chair for MTA University Society of All Nations (2008-09), President of MTA Cricket Club (2007-09), and Captain of Fleming College Cricket Team (2017). Passionate about nurturing the next generation of cricket players and creating fun, creative team building activities.

Senior Network Security Engineer with double master's degrees in Electronics and Communications. A versatile all-rounder who has been playing cricket since his teens. Known for his calm presence and team-first mentality, Madhu brings stability in high-pressure situations both on and off the field.
Our board is dedicated to transparency, community engagement, and the growth of cricket in London, Ontario. As a federally incorporated not-for-profit corporation under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (Corporation #1746974-8), we operate with integrity and accountability.
Officer appointments (President, Treasurer, Secretary, and other roles) are formally ratified by Director Resolution and recorded via signed Officer Appointment Letters in the Club's governance ledger. Roles shown as “in progress” are pending final ratification by the Board.
