Our first season is done, and it ended better than a first season has any right to: a semi-final in LPL Division 2, sixth in the LCL T30 Premier Division, the League's Fair Play Award, and the Best Bowler of Division 2 in our dressing room.
Registration for 2027 is now open.
$150 secures your place. That is the whole ask right now. You do not have to decide today whether you are a full-season player, because neither league has published its 2027 fixture list yet — and picking a tier before you know how many matches there are, or when they fall, is guesswork for you and for us.
The full-season option opens in March 2027, once the schedules are out. If you want it then, it is a further $150. If you do not, you have paid what you have paid and nothing more is owed.
This is not a deposit that sits there until May. It is the start of your season:
Say so on the form. A good chunk of last season's squad had never played together before May, and several had only just moved to the city. Winter nets exist partly so nobody walks into their first match as a stranger.
We are a not-for-profit. Nobody takes a salary, and the fees go into league entry, nets, kit and match days — the full breakdown is published on the season page, because members and funders both ask.
The 2027 season page has the fees, what is included, how selection works and the terms. When you are ready, fill in the registration form — we will be in touch with how to pay and what happens next.
Come and play. It was a good first year, and 2027 starts now.
Nine local businesses sponsored Challengers Cricket Club in 2026 — before we had played a single league match, and with nothing to go on but a plan. Here is every one of them, and what they made possible.
